Courses

The courses offered by Above & Beyond™ are for people employed within the hospitality and retail sectors of the New Zealand service industry in supervisory roles and/or those employees working within each of the industries who aspire to hold management or supervisory positions in their workplace.

All course participants must be employed within either the hospitality or retail sectors of the New Zealand service industry and hold or wish to up-skill towards supervisory or management positions.

Train the Trainer

This course is written around and can lead to the achievement of unit standard 7108 on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework: Deliver On-Job Training to Adults (Level 4, 8 Credits, Version 2).

You would attend this course if you wanted to become an effective work-place trainer.

  

Assessor Training

This course leads to the achievement of unit standards 4098 and 11281 on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework: Use Standards to Assess Candidate Performance (Level 4, 6 Credits, Version 5) and Prepare Candidate(s) for Assessment Against Standards (Level 4, 3 Credits, Version 4).

You would attend this course if you wanted to be able to formally assess others towards the achievement of unit standard based outcomes.
